The possible reason for why they haven't been seen ghouled is because Hoverbugs fly at high speeds that probably prevented them from being caught and ghouled. That was until all of SlugTerra's Hoverbugs were ghouled since the Air Elemental was Ghouled in Return of the Elementals.

Protoform Abilities - Gives people the heebie jeebies. Taboost - Creates a string of bad luck in an opponent, such as clumsiness or their blaster breaking. Taboost Talislash - Slug creates miniature voodoo doll of opponent, sticks needles in body parts - opponent feels "real" pain. UrrScourge - Makes opponent believe that their blaster isn't working, but they are wasting ammo in a panicked state.
The Fire Elemental Slug is a quite shy but kind of angry slug. He has one cream coloured horn on his forehead and gloves that let him hold fire. His tail (back) has the same properties as his gloves. He has a tooth that sticks out of his mouth when in protoform but not in velocity. The main colour scheme is red, yellow and orange. When he transforms he can easily run on four hands. He would probably not be best to play hot potato with though due to his body heat.

ttacknet is the Ghouled Version of the Arachnet. After you defeat Dr. Blakk in the app Slug It Out he uses one to escape. In game it appears as an Arachnet with red eyes and a darker colour scheme. It debuts in the episode What Lies Beneath, Trixie used it against the Darkbane soldier and Eli Shane used it to climb to the Behemoth's control chair.

Xmitters are uncommon electric type Slugs. It was the favorite Slug of Straggus. In its protoform, it has teal and black skin with lime colored antennae and stomach. It has no known preferred environment. When launched at velocity, Xmitter slugs are able to generate an electromagnetic pulse that temporarily disables any nearby electronic devices. Xmitter slugs has only been seen in episode The Hard Part but was mentioned in The Thrill of the Game when Trixie suggested using the slug.

Tazerlings are small blue Slugs, with yellow highlights on them. Tazerlings have a strangely shaped pattern on their stomachs which are a lighter blue. On top of that, they have seed-like shapes of yellow. Like all Slugs, Tazerlings have short, stubby arms. They have big brown eyes, with yellow lightning bolts above them in an eyebrow scheme. They have what seems to be three teeth, two big teeth on the sides on the top, and a big tooth under and can fit in between the other two teeth.

The Flaringo slug is an extremely common slug that a lot of slingers use. Despite being common, even a Flaringo with little or no experience can cause moderate damage. Firing a Flaringo is a good way to hit a single target with moves like Blastburst and Heatsave, and an OK way to hit more targets with Sparkomet. A Flaringo's major weakness is a water slug, but Frostcrawlers can also be a good way to beat a Flaringo.

Bubbaleones are rare water slugs that are typically found in rocky streams and freshwater rivers. When in protoform, it resembles a Lavalynx. It transforms into a large bubble-like version of itself as they reach 100 mph. They are also capable of protoform bubble blowing, as demonstrated in "The Gentleman and the Thief." Against a gattler, a Bubbaleone can be helpful. The indestructible slug skin makes it ideal for combating mimics or explosive slugs. Bubbaleones can be employed for both surface- and subsurface-based transportation.

A Thugglet slug is a rose red coloured Uncommon Psychic Slug with small horns, a mohawk, and mask patterns over the eyes. They have illusionary abilities that only affect living things as seen in The New Kid Part 1 and The New Kid Part 2. Torkoal cannot evolve. On its own, Torkoal is more than capable, though, being able to learn some of the most powerful Fire moves in Pokémon, such as Lava Plume, Flamethrower, and Heat Wave. Gazzers are common air slugs, similar in appearance to Armashelt and Crystalyd Slugs. The only members of the Shane Gang to own a Gazzer is Eli Shane and Kord Zane. In "The Journey Home," It was first seen making Lode laugh so much that he fired one of his Ghouls at Locke by Kord Zane. A famous Gazzer is Joker who belongs to Eli Shane. A ghouled version of Gazzer has not yet been seen in the show.

Lariat Slugs are light green, water element Slugs with a dark green face, and a foam green stomach. At 100 mph, they shoot out sticky goo that sticks and a tongue that acts as a grappling hook. A famous Lariat is Larry, who belongs to Eli Shane. A ghouled version of Lariat has not yet been seen in the show.

The Fire Elemental Slug is a quite shy but kind of angry slug. He has one cream coloured horn on his forehead and gloves that let him hold fire. His tail (back) has the same properties as his gloves. He has a tooth that sticks out of his mouth when in protoform but not in velocity. The main colour scheme is red, yellow and orange. When he transforms he can easily run on four hands. He would probably not be best to play hot potato with though due to his body heat.

A Thrasher is the Ghouled version of the Thresher. They are blackish-blue, with blue markings, razor teeth, and a bladed back. Their transformation leaves them similar to a Thresher's 100mph form, but respectively coloured and with sharper teeth and serrated blades.

This slug can reach 6.4 cm (2.5 in) in size, with its body extended. It has no eyes, and is white in colour. Formerly at velocity, in the design all that could be seen was a winged beast with only a head and horns showing, similar to the Infurnus. In its protoform, it had horns instead of antennae and was almost purely black. The new protoform is maroon, with a dirty pink underbelly and a flame-shaped mark on its head. It also has two small spikes on it's tail. At velocity, the Pyringo retains its colour scheme, but has green fire instead of the regular orange of an Flaringo.

The MakoBreaker Slug is an uncommon water slug only seen in "Deep Water, Dark Water". It belongs to both Malvolio and Brutale Drake. It appears to be a brown slug with a dorsal fin in protoform. It also has two slits on each side of its head like gills. At 100 mph they are a brown shark with black lines all over it, and also have two sets of fins.

Amperling is the Ghouled version of the Tazerling. It has dark blue skin with a yellow belly and neon green lightning bolt-shaped antennae. They have electric powers like the Tazerling, but, like most Ghouls, they are stronger and more dangerous than their normal counterpart. The legendary plant elemental harnesses the power of nature to take its opponent down. Can conjure plant bombs that will deal devastating damage over time until they're destroyed. Vines will grow from where the slug hits, binding an opponent. The vines can pop-up with flowers that bloom around foe to deliver sleep pollen. She has flying membranes under her arms, giving her the power of flying in protoform. In Protoform, Gazzers are similar in shape to Armashelt and Crystalyd Slugs. Their skin and antennae are an ashy brown while their armor and eyes are primarily orange, though their armor has yellow outlines. When transformed, they take on a shape that almost seems like a chestnut. While their colors stay the same, they form four large holes in their shell that emits different types of gasses (depending on the attack). The gasses tend to appear as different shades of brown and yellow (also depending on the attack). They have an underbite that shows uneven teeth.

Beatrice Sting, more commonly known as Trixie, is no slouch on the Slugslinging field. Her blaster packs a mean Slug punch! She is a member of the Shane Gang, along with Eli Shane, Kord Zane and Pronto. Trixie's shots are always a bullseye, but when it comes to dueling she can also spot details to help come up with a smart strategy for the team.

Jimmo Shane is the great uncle of Eli Shane and uncle of Will Shane. He is first mentioned in "A Distant Shore" and later seen in a flashback in "Back to Blakk".

Lian (also known as the Dai Fu which is Pronounced die - fu) is a former villain and tritagonist character who debuted in the Slugterra: Eastern Caverns movie. She is a Slug Fu Master and was one of The Emperor's Underlords and Junjie's Former Slug Fu teacher.

The Ice Elemental is one of the Elemental Slugs. He looks like a Buffed up MegaMorph Frostcrawler and is one of the 5 new elementals to come to slugterra.
Ice Elemental Slug
Frightgeists are rare psychic element Slugs with cyan skin and white patterns on their body. Their protoform has a skeletal pattern. Its first major appearance is in the episode "Deadweed" and is found in the cavern of the same name. This slug has mostly fear-related moves. They are notable for being the only known slug who can directly attack a Darkbane.
